Castlebar is the county town of Mayo. Castlebar has a primary catchment of 35,000 people and is second only to Galway city as a retail centre in Connaught.
It is the largest town in Mayo by population, with excellent schools and sporting bodies such as Castlebar Mitchels, Castlebar Rugby Club, Castlebar Celtic and Castlebar Tennis club, all well known throughout the country.
